Meet Dr. Kenya Davis
How Poop Helped Me Discover My Calling
My journey into chiropractic began before I fully understood what chiropractic care was. While in class, a recruiter from Life University visited and spoke about chiropractic philosophy and the role of the nervous system in overall health.
Wanting to learn more, I was introduced to a local chiropractor, Dr. Kenya Gaskin, whom I had the opportunity to shadow. As I observed patients coming in and out of the office, I noticed a clear shift in their energy after their adjustments. The moment that truly confirmed my calling came when a mother brought in her infant who had been constipated for several days and cried during bowel movements. After the baby’s adjustment, before even leaving the office, he had a poopy diaper. In that instant, I fell in love with chiropractic and the power of supporting the body holistically as it adapts and heals.
Education & Chiropractic Philosophy
I graduated Life University in 2022, where I was trained in principled, vitalistic chiropractic care. My education reinforced the belief that the body is intelligent and designed to heal when the nervous system is supported and free from interference. While at Life, I developed a strong passion for prenatal, pediatric, and family chiropractic care, recognizing the profound impact early nervous system support can have on lifelong health.
I am Webster-certified and use a variety of gentle adjusting techniques, because everybody and every stage of life requires something different. My approach is individualized, education-focused, and centered on aligning care with each patient’s goals.
Life Outside the Office
Outside the office, my greatest joy is spending time with my 3-year-old son, Dawsyn Kole. I value family, movement, personal growth, and living a wellness-centered lifestyle, values that naturally extend into the care I provide each day.
