New Patients at Madison Family Chiropractors
It’s been our experience that after the first three visits, you’ll have a good idea of how we can help you, feel more hopeful about your possibilities, and be back on the path of better health, better energy and a better life.
Your First Visit
You will immediately feel at home the moment you walk in the door. Your first visit usually takes about 45 minutes. If you’ve never been to a chiropractor before, we’ll make sure to explain everything as we go, so there won’t be any surprises. Here’s what to expect on your first day with us: :
- we’ll greet you with a smile
- we’ll take a brief health history and talk about your health concern(s)
- we’ll examine your spine for signs of misalignment and/or nerve interference
- if we find any spinal misalignments (called ‘subluxations’), we’ll correct them with gentle, specific chiropractic adjustments
Before you leave, your doctor will tell you what to expect after your first adjustment, and schedule your next visit.
Your Second Visit
On your second visit, we’ll ask about any changes you’ve noticed after your first adjustment and check to see what changes we notice in your spine and make any other adjustments you need that day.
Your Third Visit
On your third visit, we’ll put it all together:
- check your spine and adjust you as needed
- review our findings so far
We’ll then recommend a care plan that will help you reach your health goals. All along the way, we’ll communicate openly with you and be ready to answer any questions you may have.
